Hi folks,

Drew again. I wanted to share another update on fulfillment progress in each of the shipping zones and a few other notes as we move forward through June. As always, if you have any questions about your order, please reach out to [email protected]

VFI

There are some SEA Backers that have been patiently awaiting their copy of Pamir and I am happy to confirm they are making their way to their destinations! Games in SG at Team Board Game will be sent out in June. Battlefield is hoping to ship out to TW and KR backers this month too. Orders from ID will be sent out in just a few days. Gaming Library will be fulfilling PH backers, but I am still waiting on an update on approximate shipping date regarding those orders. 

I apologize there has been a large discrepancy between arrival times across the world, but different shipping partners have differing capacities for fulfillment given their situations. I ask for your understanding as these operations in SEA often handle many KS fulfillment orders with limited staff. Each fulfillment center should email you with tracking info too.

Snakes and Lattes

Canada backers! We're getting closer, but we're not quite there yet. Our shipping partner informed us of delays from driver/truck shortages that maybe the cause of logistic delays in CA. Though the vessel has offloaded, we are still waiting for the container to be transported and units moved into S&L.  I do not have confirmation for a timeline when Backers will receive their Pamir yet, but I suspect delivery to S&L will come either the end of this week or early next. Soon after arrival, labels will be made and backers will get tracking numbers according for their orders. I am optimistic that CA backers will have their shipping notice before the month is out and I am hoping this delay will only push back CA just a couple days. 

Aetherworks

I just heard back from the operations manager at Aetherworks about the timeline for Au/NZ backers and they are planning to get started on this tomorrow! They have Pamir, but they have had other orders they have been fulfilling in the interim. Pamir is next on the docket. They just received our updated contract and reassured me tracking info will be sent to backers once their parcel is scanned at the AusPost depot after collection.  Keep your eyes on your email!

Happyshops

EU/Rest of world backers are next up! The shipment has been moving along smoothly to Happyshops. I am waiting to hear about an update from Happyshop directly, but the good news is that Pamir is in Germany!  We are confident that most orders will be in the mail by late June. Delivery times for Rest-of-World orders vary wildly, so please keep close watch on your tracking numbers from Happyshops.

Funagain

We have been so happy with the work the crew at Funagain put into the fulfillment of this project. They shipped out  all 1800+ packages in a less than a week's time! Fastest turn around time of any of our fulfillment partners! We will continue to use Funagain to fulfill new US orders Pamir as we move to sell the remaining stock on our webstore.

Replacement Parts

Funagain will also be helping us process replacement part orders. If, for whatever reason, your copy of Pamir does not have all of the correct components, let us know! Send a message to [email protected] and we'll get your order processed. Please avoid sending messages directly over KS or other platforms because those sometimes could go under our radar for several days. This goes for all backers that may find a production error. Know that it might take a few weeks to process replacement part orders, especially if int'l backers, but we will make sure to get your copy of Pamir complete with all of the components!

New orders

As we come to a close on the campaign, we will be shutting down our Backerkit Pre-order store and launching a new webstore at wehrlegig.com! If you know of anyone on the fence, tell those friends (US-only) they can still get Pamir for $75 + $10 shipping(up to 3 copies) until Friday! This Friday evening (6ish EDT) we'll launch the webstore that will stock the remaining US copies of Pamir. We will also be posting a limited number of add-on metal coin bags that remain from the KS.  If you are feeling like you wished you would have bought the metal coins during the late-pledge period for US-backers, this weekend will be your chance! Again, metal coin quantities will be very limited and it maybe awhile before we press any more metal coins for Pamir.

Uh-oh...Feelings

You incredible people helped bring this game into existence and I am so proud of the work that we made together!! It brings us so much joy to see folks share pictures of Pamir being played. You gave us a chance to develop a design that has been near and dear to us for years with the production value of our dreams. I cannot express my thanks enough for supporting Wehrlegig and I will continue to do my best to manage our fulfillment of Pamir and customer service for requests.

Fulfillment Update and Origins Game Fair

Hi Backers!

Drew here with a quick update on our shipping progress. Pax Pamir fulfillment has started and will continue this month and next, depending on which shipping partner happens to be sending Pamir your way. Region specefic updates and pretty pictures of Pamir below : )

Regional fulfillment updates:

VFI

Backers in CN, HK, TW, MY, and JP have received tracking numbers and their orders are in the mail. VFI is shipping orders for ID, KR, SG, and TH with their local partners and we expect those orders to ship in the near future. When your order enters the mail system, VFI will send a tracking number to your email provided, but since some backers have not received those tracking numbers from VFI, I will submit tracking info via Backerkit as well. If you have not heard from either VFI or Backerkit with your shipping info, it either has not shipped into the mail service from a local partner or the tracking info maybe in spam/junk folder in your email. As always, you can reach out to us [email protected] if you have any questions about your order.

Aetherworks

Backers in AU and NZ are next up. The shipment just arrived at Aetherworks this morning and they have the list of delivery addresses. I am hoping that as soon as next week orders will start getting mailed out to backers in AU and NZ, but I am waiting to hear back before I share specifics about when orders will get sent out.  As with other fulfillment centers, Aetherworks and/or Backerkit will send an email with your tracking number on your order once it enters the mail system. Again, please reach out to us [email protected] if you have any questions about your order. 

Funagain

US Backers...we are so close! The US shipment has cleared customs and is currently en-route to Funagain Games for fulfillment. It will get delivered to Funagain on Monday, and it will take a couple days to unpack, sort, and get orders together. They have limited capacity to send out games, but most orders will be in the mail next week!! Depending on the destination, most US backers will receive their orders next week or the week following! If you have not heard from either Funagin or Backerkit with your shipping tracking number the week after next, it either has not shipped into the mail service or the tracking info maybe in spam/junk folder in your email.  Please reach out to us [email protected] at anytime if you have any questions about your order.

Snakes and Lattes

CA backers will receive their copies later this month. They are scheduled to arrive to S&L on June 15 and, like with our other fulfillment centers, will need a couple days to inventory and organize orders before mailing copies out. As with other fulfillment centers, S & L and/or Backerkit will send an email with your tracking number on your order once it enters the mail system.Please reach out to us [email protected] at anytime if you have any questions about your order.

Happyshops

EU/Rest-of-world orders placed through KS/Backerkit will be fulfilled with Happshops. The order is scheduled to arrive in Germany June 16th, and like the other orders, will take a few days to unpack, count, and organize before shipping can start. As with other fulfillment centers, Funagain and/or Backerkit will send an email with your tracking number on your order once it enters the mail system. There are some remote destinations being sent from Happyshops that may significantly longer to ship to than others, so please keep an eye out on tracking numbers from Happyshops/Backerkit. Origins Game Fair

Cole and I will be at Origins this year working with Leder Games Booth#245! We will not be bringing in copies of Pamir to sell at Origins and won't have any booth at the fair...BUT we are going to have a party to celebrate the release of Pax Pamir and fulfillment starting! If you are in Columbus for Origins, or just happen to be in the general area, come say hi next Friday night! This is event does not require any sort of registration, and it's not Origins-affiliated. It should just be a nice time to chat and see the final game while Cole and I are together in Columbus!

Pax Pamir is en-route to shipping hubs!!

Exciting news from the midwest! After another busy spring day at the Chicago Botanic Garden, I was completely ecstatic to return home to this beautiful sight on my front steps yesterday:

Wait a minute. Don't get too excited...These are the advance copies we air freighted here  ($$$$$) to take some fancy photos and send to some impending spring conventions. I am going to test out some stains too in the coming weeks, but I'm happy to say, this officially marks the beginning of the end! 

Big boat time!

Pamir has left the manufacturer and is traveling right now to the different regional shipping hubs. They will be moving to and from international ports on huge cargo vessels. Once they get to the fulfillment centers, they will be unpacked and orders will start getting packed!

When your order ships, you will be notified by our shipping partners at VFI, Aetherworks, Happyshops, Snakes and Lattes, or Funagain. We will be sending tracking information to your email address used on your Backerkit survey! Over the next few weeks folks across the world will be getting emails about their orders, and I couldn't be more thrilled this we are in the waning days of this project.

For most of our Asia backers, we will shipping to you from VFI in Shenzhen.  They just received their units and will be sending out orders in waves to SEA backers.They are getting ready to ship Pamir soon but I am waiting specifics for their shipping timeline for Pamir. Likely as soon as next week!

Because nothing has cleared customs or arrived safely at the shipping hubs, we still cannot confirm specific timelines for delivery yet. Things are still subject to change sadly, but we are on course for early/mid June fulfillment for US/AU/NZ backers and late June for CA/EU. 

Orders will take different amounts of time to arrive to their destination. Most parcels will arrive days after shipping from the region hubs, but others will take over a upwards of two weeks or more. Tracking numbers are really helpful for you to have an idea about your unique timeline for order!

Damages/missing parts

We've been really careful with shipping and packaging, but mistakes can happen in the fulfillment process. If any backer finds damage to their order, please take a photo of the damage on the shipping box as well as the damage to the game box and email us at [email protected] for replacements. 

If you are missing any parts or have defective pieces as well, please use this email for your requests as well. Depending where you are located, it can take up to 2-4 weeks to arrive, depending on the availability of the shipping hubs. 

Note - we are not big fans of using the Kickstarter messaging system to handle backer requests. Organizing order requests on KS is not as ideal as email, and since our support email inbox is just checked more frequently, please use our support email at [email protected] if you need to request anything or have questions.

Backerkit orders processing and shipping timeline

Hello everyone.

I wanted to share some news on the current plan for Pamir. It's an exciting time for this project! The games and metal coins are being carefully packed and prepared to be shipped all across the world this week. Pamir will soon be headed to our shipping partners who will fulfill each order from different regional hubs. We are now entering the final stretch!

Since we are starting the shipping phase, we are moving forward with processing payments on Backerkit balances. We will initiate payment processing on Backerkit balances tomorrow, May 13th @ 5pm CST. If you pre-ordered add-ons above your original KS pledge or joined to the campaign as a late-backer on the pre-order store, your account balance will be processed and your card will be charged. If your card is declined, you will be notified and required to submit a valid card for your pre-order. Backerkit pre-orders must be updated with valid card information by the end of  this week. If an outstanding balance remains after this week, your order will be be fulfilled to the original pledge.

Additionally, we sent out address confirmation emails to all backers. We will be sharing updated addresses and contact information with our shipping partners this week, so please confirm and update your address on your Backerkit survey if necessary. 

Furthermore, I am thrilled to say we are ahead of schedule at the moment! Production has wrapped up smoothly and we are set for international freight. Since there are always a lot of factors at play that might affect the arrival of Pamir, I do not want to guarantee any specific shipping timeline for Backers to be receiving Pamir quiet yet. This is all to say, we are expecting Pax Pamir arrives to backers in June! More specifics to come in the next couple weeks.

Since we are working with fulfillment hubs in China and Australia, backers in SEA and Au/NZ will likely be receiving their copies slightly ahead of US/CA/EU. Pamir is arriving at the regional hubs on different schedules, so all backers won't receive Pamir on the same day. We are hoping to have the vast majority of copies in backers hands before the end of June / early July.

Final Proof Copy Arrives

It's been about a month since I last wrote to everyone, which is about as long as we've gone in-between updates. This is mostly because we haven't had much to report on our end. The game has been in production, and everything is on schedule.  

I do have some news to share. I'm happy to report that, as of a few days ago, all principal production on the game is done! Today I approved the final proof for the game which gives Panda the green light to begin assembling the individual games. This process usually takes a couple weeks, mostly because it includes acclimatizing the punch-board to minimize any warping . The final proof looked wonderful, and I'm really impressed with the attention to detail the team at Panda demonstrated. 

As I said back when we got our pre-production proof, it's hard to put into words the feeling of seeing this game on my table. Drew and I are both still filled with gratitude at you all for helping us make this crazy game, and that feeling hasn't diminished at all in the months since the project funded.  

In addition to the production update, I wanted to let you all know that the price of the game on our Backerkit store will be inching once more to the games actual retail price (~$85) on May 1st. This doesn't impact any of you of course, but if you know any fence-sitters, now is the time for them to jump into the game. Also, pretty soon we'll be transitioning our "storefront" from Backerkit to a proper website. The remaining inventory will be sold primarily through that platform after we ship everyone here their copies.  

Hopefully the next update you'll get from us will include a rough outline of our shipping schedule!
